Executive Team

Douglas leads the Engineering organization responsible for New Product Development, Program Management and Applications Engineering. Prior to joining Spectrum, Douglas spent more than 20 years developing Electronic Warfare Systems and Commercial Telecommunications products. He held senior positions at Grintek Electronics, Glenayre Electronics and Sierra Wireless where he successfully developed and launched a number of leading edge products. Douglas holds a B.Eng. in Electronic Engineering from the University of Pretoria and completed Executive Development training at the University of the Witwatersrand Graduate School of Business Administration.

Mark is responsible for Spectrum's product planning, positioning, product management and business development. He began working in communications in 1988 as a software designer for Bell-Northern Research, and has since held many roles in product development, delivery and marketing. Immediately prior to joining Spectrum in 2001, he was Director of Switch Products in the Wireless Messaging Group for Glenayre, Inc. Mark received his Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering from McMaster University and his Master of Business Administration from the University of British Columbia. He has been a licensed professional engineer since 1991.

Mike leads the Spectrum USA organization and is focused on combining Spectrum's premier commercial-off-the-shelf products with an elite group of applications engineers to provide tailored solutions for the government wireless market. His work experience includes military service as a US Army Signal Corps Officer, followed by 14 years in high tech sales for Motorola, Inc. and DRS Technologies. Mike joined Spectrum in August 1999 and held positions as Director of Business Development and Vice President of Sales. Mike earned his Bachelors of Science in Electrical Engineering from Ohio University and his Masters of Business Administration from Loyola College.
