PowerPC–Based solutions Shipping today from Spectrum
Spectrum offers Motorola G4 PowerPC technology in its High Channel Density Receiver (HCDR) subsystems. Check out what’s available today!

The HCDR-1002 IDS is a complete hardware and software solution for the rapid development of wireless receiver applications that allows application developers to start coding immediately! This extremely flexible platform incorporates the Altivec® PowerPC processor which provides exceptional floating-point performance (3.9 GFLOPS) to support a wide variety of wireless applications. The Solano~links provide 1.66 GB/s of deterministic, low latency data paths between the ePMC compliant carriers and mezzanine modules.

Visit Spectrum at the TechNet 2002 Exposition
Spectrum will be at the TechNet International 2002 exposition, June 11-13, at the Washington Convention Center, D.C. Visit Spectrum at booth 1441, where we’ll be demonstrating the capabilities of our SDR-3000 family of CompactPCI-based digital transceiver subsystems. Don’t miss out on your opportunity to learn how this high performance, software programmable subsystem can support hundreds of simultaneous transmit and receiver channels, each with an independent air interface protocol.

Spectrum Partners with MPI Software Technology
Spectrum’s newest partner, MPI Software Technology, is the leading high-performance middleware products and service provider. MPI offers vector and image processing libraries that are compatible with Spectrum’s flexComm High Channel Density Receiver (HCDR) and SDR family of subsystems. These vector and image processing libraries are specifically optimized to the PowerPC G4 and are fully compliant with the VSIPL API standard, as published by the VSIPL forum.
