quicComm Model Based Design Kit (MBDK) for FPGAs
Rapid Model-to-FPGA Development in MATLAB and Xilinx System Generator

Overview
Overview
The Mathworks Simulink tool provides a powerful graphical environment to model, simulate, generate and debug signal processing algorithms. Spectrum’s quicComm™ Model Based Design Kit (MBDK) for FPGAs consists of built-in hardwarespecific interface libraries, IP cores, and reference design examples that make use of the Xilinx System Generator library within the Simulink environment. The MBDK dramatically shortens FPGA application development time by allowing developers to model their signal processing application within a completely graphical environment, simulate it, then build the executable image for the FPGA without writing a single line of VHDL code. In addition, Spectrum provides application example code that connects the data from the FPGA application to your MATLAB application on your PC, so you can develop your GPP-based code in MATLAB or on the PC.
