SCARI++ SCA Core Framework
From Communications Research Centre (CRC)
SCARI++ SCA v2.2 Core Framework
The SDR-4000 is offered with the Communications Research Centre (CRC) Canada's implementation
of the SCARI++ SCA core framework. The SCA is an open specification sponsored by the U.S. Department of Defense
Joint Tactical Radio System (JTRS) program. It specifies architecture requirements such as software,
hardware, and networking for open, programmable SDR systems with flexible, re-programmable communication
capabilities. The SCA specifies a common framework to build-up, configure, connect and tear down
distributed, embedded radio applications while maximizing waveform portability.
SCARI++ is CRC's full-featured C++ implementation of the SCA Core Framework version 2.2. It is CRC's
most flexible core framework implementation, completely configurable and easy to use. For more information on
SCARI++, please visit

Spectrum SCA BSP
The SCA BSP provides the SDR-4000 specific components of the SCA core framework,
designed to meet the some 200 requirements required by the SCA specification.
