Accelerate Software Communications Architecture (SCA) Development

Spectrum supports platform aware tools for SCA development. These tools provide a visual, model-driven development environment that cover the complete development life cycle from the creation of SCA-enabled signal processing resources, to their integration into a waveform and its deployment on to the SDR-4000.

CRC SCARI SDR Development Toolset

The SDR Development Toolset from CRC enables rapid application development (RAD) and is a platform-independent Eclipse-based Integrated Development Environment (IDE) that covers the complete SDR development life cycle from creation and validation of components to their assembly into applications or nodes. The tools:

• Allow for unambiguous modeling of SCA entities
• Implement real-time model validation
• Provide model re-factoring capabilities
• Allow reverse-engineering of models for existing components
• Provide zero-merge, template based, portable, POSIX/CORBA compliant code generation for SCA Resources and Devices
• Minimize code memory footprint using Component Development Libraries
