ePMC-32MSDDC
32-Channel Multi-Standard Digital Receiver Enhanced PMC Module
The ePMC-32MSDDC is a double-width Enhanced PMC (ePMC) module which selectively tunes
to 32 narrowband or 8 wideband channels anywhere within the IF bandwidth. Eight Graychip
programmable down converters receive the IF data, and their outputs are routed to powerful
Xilinx Virtex-E series FPGAs that provide the capability to perform further processing on the
data, such as channel equalization for multi-path suppression or channel weighting and
combining for beam forming applications. The output of the FPGAs is routed to the processing
engine via the high-speed Solano~links on the ePMC interface. The Enhanced PMC standard is
fully compatible with the IEEE P1386.1 PMC standard but
offers the additional benefit of dedicated Solano~links
between ePMC compliant carriers and mezzanine modules.
The ePMC-32MSDDC is compatible with Spectrum’s PRO-1900
VME Enhanced PMC carrier, the Mosport Octal ‘C6203 VME
processing engine, and the ePMC-2ADC dual input 14-bit 65
MSPS A/D Converter module.
