SDR-2000 SRDP
SATCOM Rapid-Prototype Development Platform

The SDR-2000 SRDP is the only fully integrated COTS "IF to Ethernet" satellite communications (SATCOM) terminal solution comprising a software defined radio (SDR) hardware environment with the tools required for rapid radio development. This platform allows the rapid development and deployment of satellite ground stations that enable bi-directional communications with multiple remote terminals.

Signal Processing Platform

An SDR-2000 SRDP development platform comprises:

• XMC-3311, a dual input 12-bit A/D and single output 14-bit D/A converter
• ePMC-8310, a digital signal processing (DSP)-based multiprocessing engine
• PRO-2900, a PCI-X-based ePMC/XMC carrier
• PMC clock module
• Dual Intel Xeon Server
• Microsoft Windows XP development laptop is optional
