SDR-2000 ERDP
ELINT Rapid-Prototype Development Platform

SDR-2000 ERDP ELINT Rapid-Prototype Development Platform

The SDR-2000 ERDP is a fully integrated commercial off-the-shelf (COTS) "IF to Ethernet" wideband spectral analysis solution integrating a software defined radio (SDR) hardware environment with the software tools necessary to support the rapid development of systems for the intercept and processing of RADAR signals in electronic intelligence (ELINT) applications.

The SDR-2000 ERDP was specifically designed to support the emitter detection and identification functions typical of an ELINT wideband spectral analysis platform.

Signal Processing Platform

An SDR-2000 development platform comprises:

  • XMC-3311, a dual input 12-bit A/D and single output 14-bit D/A converter
  • ePMC-8120, a front-end signal processing engine
  • PRO-2900, a PCI-X-based ePMC/XMC carrier
  • PMC clock module
  • Dual Intel Xeon Server
  • Microsoft Windows XP development laptop is optional
