Requirements for Training Workshops
Requirements for all training workshops (offered at Spectrum Burnaby or On-site)
- Spectrum requires a purchase order and a fixed training date
at least 6 weeks in advance of the actual training workshop.
- Spectrum provides training based on an 8-hour day as indicated by the following schedule.
Some variability in the length of a given session may occur due to the length of
individual training modules.

- English is the language of instruction of all training workshops.
- Spectrum will provide lunch to Trainees for training workshops offered only
at Spectrum Burnaby.
Additional Requirements for Training Workshops provided On-Site at your location:
- The following describes the Classroom and Equipment you are to provide Spectrum
during on-site training events. Failure to provide an adequate room or equipment may cause
the cancellation of the training workshop, in whole or in part.
- Three tables capable of supporting Spectrum’s Development Systems and able
to seat up to three people each (min 2ft. x 6ft.)
- LCD Projector (min. 1024 x 768) and Projector Screen
- Whiteboard (min. 3ft. x 6ft.)
- Good access to Electrical Sockets and TCP/IP Network Ports
- 17” Monitor along with standard keyboard and mouse for use with each development system
- Digitally tuned Signal Generator(s) capable of producing signals up to 12MHz or greater
- Oscillascope(s) capable of receiving signals of 80MHz or greater
- At least one of your Development Systems will be used during the on-site training program.
- The Spectrum Trainer will need advanced access to the your development system(s)
and may need access to the local Network Administrator to help configure the development
system(s) for use during the training workshop.
